After reading “The Diary of Bink Cummings Vol. 1 & Vol. 2″, I didn’t think it could get any more dramatic, hot, sexy and twisted. I was wrong.
“The Diary of Bink Cummings Vol. 3″ has even surpassed the awesomeness of the first two books and kept me glued to my Kindle non-stop.
Bink Cummings writing style is different and refreshing. It’s down-to-earth, stripped of all pretentiousness. Every word is a testament to the author pouring out her heart and soul. And through that, she manages to touch the reader’s heart. At least she did with mine.
Finally, Bink and Big are together and things could be all sunshine and happiness. Instead, just when things are going really well, life, people and their own hang-ups get in the way, threatening to destroy everything just when it started.
This book got me even more than the first two, running my poor heart through a blender.
I was torn between loving and hating Big, his behavior driving me up the wall. At times, I wondered if his road name “Big Dick” possibly never referred to the size of his package, but maybe to his personality. A bull in the china shop is delicate and sensitive compared to that man. But just when I wanted Bink to leave his stupid ass, after kicking him in the balls so hard he chokes on them, he did or said something that turned me into an emotional, stupid mess. However odd it may seem, there was always a reason for his behavior, an explanation that made my heart ache for him. His way of thinking is often screwed up.
The luckier he is to have found Bink. That woman is a saint. Although there is enough of a devil in her as well. But how she puts up not just with Big, but with the whole club and their testosterone laden stupidity is beyond me. It takes one hell of a woman to not only deal with it, but accept and love it. Someone non-judgmental, loving and caring. That is Bink.
The stuff that happens to her and the things she grew up with are nothing short of crazy. But at the end of the day, her biker family always sticks together – through thick and thin.
This is one of the most addictive series I have ever read. And it’s easy to see that the author truly lives and knows the MC lifestyle. It’s not the romanticized version of a biker club.
It’s dirty, it’s gritty, it’s intense and raw. At times it made me cringe and took me out of my comfort zone and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
One thing is sure though: No matter how much I might drool over Gunz, Viper and Deke, I know for sure the biker lifestyle ain’t for me.
So the happier I am to experience it through Bink.
